In the early 90s, in Viladrau, Catalonia, Josep Maria Erra made a decision that many would have consideres crazy.
Instead of following his family’s milk production tradition, he bet on plant-based drinks when hardly anyone was talking about them. The easy choice would have been to stick with what he knew, but he believed there was another way to do things (and letting the cows take a vacation).
So, in 1991, we became Spain’s first plant-based beverage factory.
