A section on sustainability always looks good on a brand’s website, and on this particular subject, in which words abound more than ever, what really matters are deeds. At Yosoy we don’t want to deceive ourselves, we’re the first to admit that there is much more for us to do.

At YOSOY we are committed to our environment and to continuous improvement to reduce our environmental impact, thus bringing us closer to the better world in which we believe. We take action through a roadmap with two axes: Environmental and Social.

We have created new packaging for our entire range of products. A more conscious, ecological and sustainable packaging.

100% of the energy we use is certified green energy. Our energy supply is 100% renewable and we also have solar panels installed at our plant.

We are evaluating an energy efficiency plan and developing circular economy projects in order to reduce the use of fossil resources. We make the most of our organic waste by using it for animal feed.

Being in the heart of the Montseny Natural Park is both a privilege as well as an enormous responsibility. We are aware of this and work to minimise our impact on the environment by actions such as reducing water consumption and keeping our immediate surroundings clean.

GREATER CONSUMPTION OF PLANT-BAED PRODUCTS

Every time you decide to increase your plant-based consumption, you contribute to an environmental improvement, such as when you choose a glass of a plant-based drink instead of its animal-based alternative.

RECYCLING

Recycle our packaging to give it a new life: The carton and cap go in the yellow bin and the box goes in the blue container.

REDUCING FOOD WASTE

Did you know that 1/3 of the food that is produced ends up in the bin?

Together we can prevent this. Once opened, our drinks should be consumed within 3-4 days, but it is important that before throwing them away you can use your senses to check if they can still be consumed. In many cases, if they are kept well refrigerated, the drinks can remain well conserved for up to 10 days.

If you still can’t use them up in time, why not use them as an ingredient in your recipes or pour the drink into an ice-cube tray and freeze it. Here are some ideas and anti-waste tips on our Instagram  @yosyovegetal
