Unfortunately, the answer is no. Clean-label products are few and far between in supermarkets and is it common to find endless lists of ingredients, with additives, strange names which are difficult to understand.
WHY DOES THE FOOD INDUSTRY USE ADDITIVES?
It’s very simple, with stabilisers and flavourings it is very easy to cover up any imperfections of the raw materials or the final product, the right gum or a good flavouring makes it impossible for even the most discerning of palates to perceive a low-quality grain or a “badly made” drink.
