FRESH FIG TART WITH YOSOY OATS + SOYA

Is it fig season and you feel like trying new recipes? We bring you one of the easiest summer dessert recipes to make. The fresh fig tart takes advantage of the sweetness of this seasonal fruit, which is available only a few weeks of the year, in a delicious and very healthy dessert.

Our version of the fig tart recipe is very simple, you just need oats and nuts to make a biscuit-like base, plus figs and any of Yosoy’s plant-based drinks, although we recommend Yosoy’s oat soya drink.

This no-bake fig tart recipe will surprise you with a delicious result with very few ingredients and preparation. Serve it as a snack and surprise your family or guests – enjoy!

INGREDIENTS (For a tart of about 20 cm diameter):

For the base:
75 g of oats or quinoa flakes
100 g of hazelnuts or other nuts
12 medjool dates, pitted and peeled

For the filling:
600 ml vegetable drink
the pulp of 8 fresh figs
1 tbsp of vanilla paste
1 cc of agar-agar

To decorate:
4 or 5 figs

PREPARATION (STEP BY STEP)

You’ll see how easy it is to make a healthy fig tart! All you need are some juicy figs, your favourite nuts, vegetable drink and vanilla paste to make it even sweeter. Follow the instructions and serve it cold from the fridge.

To make the base::
1. Grind all the ingredients in a food processor.

2. Spread the mixture into the mould, pressing well and put aside in the fridge.

For the filling:
1. Whisk 500 ml of vegetable drink together with the pulp of the figs and the vanilla.

2. In a saucepan, heat 100 ml of the vegetable drink with the agar-agar, bring to the boil for about 3 minutes and remove from the heat.

3. Add to the previous mixture and beat well with a whisk.

4. Unmould the base and spread the mixture on top. Leave to cool and decorate.

5. Keep in the fridge until serving time
